the equality is

$5 + $5 + $5  =  $10 + $1 + $1 + $1 + $2.............Eq.1

now each men $1 back, and the equality takes form like bellow,

($5 - $1) + ($5 - $1) + ($5 - $1) = $10 + $2...........Eq.2a
    $4       +       $4    +       $4     = $10 + $2...........Eq.2b

this equality is not wrong. The effective payment is $12 (left handside of Eq.2b) and we see the $12 on the right handside of Eq.2b. It's no meaning trying to find $15 while it is $12. 

It seems politicians are using such "mental" techniques to fake us (voters)...
